According to Forte, Chief Representative, Italian Foreign Trade Association of Shanghai office, with increased relations between Italy and China, there will be more and more opportunities for Italian fabric manufacturers to invest in China.
It is learned that ZEGNA has established a textile business office in Shanghai, which will make analysis and study on China's textile and garment market. In comparing with Italy, many European countries such as Britain, Germany, France and other countries seem a bit slow in investment into China.
Forte explained, the products of Germany, Britain and other countries are mainly in heavy industry, while the leading products of Italy are high-end clothing and healthy foods.
