Mariam Jalabi, who works for Gap, Polo, La Esperanza and other lifestyle companies as a design consultant stated that Turkish branded jeans and menswear have unfurled their wings worldwide and have a potential for growth in this segment.
On April 2, 2007, Jalabi made a presentation on "Creating Brands" and underlined that Turkey and Istanbul are the buzzwords in fashion across the globe.
