Saigon Square Centre on Le Van Huu Street, HCMC, has become one of the most popular shopping centres for local fashion oriented youth.
Products of almost every international brand including GAP, Versace, Valentino, Lacoste, D&G and Ralph Lauren can be found here. Unfortunately, these are vastly fake brand accessories.
These products are mostly from China and Cambodia. Several lots that are not good enough for export and are slightly defected are also bought by the Saigon retailers.
Reportedly, these traders then mark these products with high-end fashion brand's logos and pull the wool on customer's eyes.
Everything from trendy casuals to work wear and from footwear to bags and purses, as well as funky and chunky jewelry, all counterfeit brand goods, are sold here at reasonably cheap prices.
