Graduate Fashion Week this year was as pompous and exciting as any of its previous events.
Nicholas Thomas from UWE Bristol and Jasper Sincha Chadprajong from Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication were the joint winners of the prestigious River Island Gold Award. They were the proud owners of nearly £10,000.
Lilli Rose Wicks (Somerset College of Design) won the Visionary Knitwear Award and Jessica Clarke (Manchester Metropolitan University) was the Zandra Rhodes Catwalk Textiles Award winner. Kelly Shaw (University of East London), who took home the Womenswear Award.
However, the show stopper was the stunning Victoria Beckham, who not only presented the Island Gold trophies, but was also member of the judge panel.
Lanvin Artistic Director Alber Elbaz, River Island Managing Director Richard Bradbury and Harper's Bazaar Editor-in-chief Glenda Bailey, made up rest of the judging team.
