Anna's Linens hires new Merchandise Manager

Anna's Linens, the value leader in fashions for the home announced the hiring of Steve Delbello as Vice President Merchandise and Divisional Merchandise Manager, effective October 29, 2007.

Delbello will oversee Bath, Windows, Kitchen, and Decorative Accessories and will report to Carie Doll, SVP of Merchandise and Marketing and General Merchandise Manager.

He joins Anna's Linens from Bed, Bath, and Beyond, where he was a Divisional Merchandise Manager overseeing Window Coverings, Decorative Accessories, and Framed Art.

Prior to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, he was in the buying department of JC Penney. Delbello graduated with a BBA in Marketing and Management from Kent State.

"Steve brings to Anna's Linens many years of experience with two leading retailers in our industry," said Alan Gladstone, President and CEO. "His knowledge and ability will be great assets for Anna's Linens as we continue toward our goal of having 1000 stores."

Delbello joins a strong merchant team which is in the midst of a record-setting year. Our two senior buyers Peggie Galvin and Sheri Smith will now report to Delbello. Kevin Mclain, VP Merchandise and Divisional Merchandise Manager, will continue to oversee Sheets, Basic Bedding, and Fashion Bedding. John Partington, our Senior Buyer will continue to report to Mclain.
