European Commission President MassimoDonda visited China Dongguan International Shoe Exposition, 2006.

During his visit, he stressed that most European shoe buyers wish to form collaboration with Chinese manufacturers and raise objection against anti-dumping duty on Chinese imports.

On the other hand, Chinese shoe manufacturers expressed that if they have to pay anti-dumping duties, they would raise prices of shoes.

In September, 25 European countries will vote to decide if European Commission will impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese shoes imports.
