Thai Binh footwear company has exported around 6 million pairs of sports shoes of all types during first four months 2006, industry sources said.
American countries account for 50 percent of the exports amounting to almost 3 million pairs, sources added.
Located at Thuan An district – Binh Duong province, this company earned US $20 million worth foreign exchange through such export volume, recording total exports revenue to the tune of $1.2 million in four months, this year.
Thai Binh has set a target of exporting 20 million pairs of sports shoes in 2006, to achieve a record 30 percent rise compared to previous year, with estimated export earnings at $60 million.
