Quangzhou shoe enterprises are making a foray into international markets to popularize their brands.
This year, Anta Shoes Co Ltd, a shoe supplier based in Xiamen, plans to open 10 shops in Taiwan, stated a senior official of the company.
In its sequential growth, Anta will enter Hong Kong and Macao markets before capturing Taiwan business. It also intends to open shops in Singapore.
Enterprises from the region are actively pursuing overseas markets, however, industry experts warn some of them may not make a mark as they do not have a strong hold on the domestic market yet.
