Custom officials have seized large quantity of contraband shoe.
After detailed examination custom officials have found about 10,728 pairs of Nike shoes, 3,600 pair of adidas shoes, 3,600 pairs of Zara shoes and 2,040 pairs of RCM shoes fake in the container.
While inspecting the merchandise report of goods, custom officials noticed that certain consignments required further investigation.
Official had reserved some container arrived from the Far East and were to reach at North America for inspection.
After examined through VACIS (Vehicle and Contained Inspection System) they found discrepancy between actual content of the container and what it was said to contain – plastic items.
