Shoe manufacturers of Ningbo province have registered export value of US $0.8 billion for Q1 this year.
According to Ningbo Customs, the province recorded an increase of 39.1 percent as compared to the last year export value.
Russia has been the major export destination with value of $74 million this year and hence, exporters have called the year as 'Russia Year'.
However, Europe is still the largest export market; the export value is $0.257 billion.
Because of anti-dumping duties imposed by EU, future of shoe exports is not promising.
