Instituto Nacional De Defensa de la Competenca y de la Proteccion y de la Propiedad Industrial–INDECOPI (National Institution for competition protection and property industrial) of Peru has decided to investigate anti–dumping case on canvas–capped shoes imported from Vietnam and China, sources from Vietnamese department of competition management said.
Products covered by the investigation include the shoes coded HS No 6404.1110, 6404.1120, 6404.1900 and 6405.2000.
INDECOPI is preparing investigating questionnaires that will be sent directly to the goods exporters and manufacturers in Vietnam and China.
It is the second time INDECOPI will be investigating anti–dumping Vietnamese goods.
In 2005, the department of Peru imposed the lawsuit on surfboard made in Vietnam.
