EU contemplates anti-dumping duties against China & Vietnam

European Union (EU) has completed its investigation of the anti-dumping charges against China and Vietnam for the shoe export and has taken the views of all its member countries as well on July, 27.

After this, EU has confirmed that Chinese and Vietnamese businessmen have been indeed found guilty of anti-dumping charges and appropriate measures will be taken.

EU is currently looking at a proposal by which it will put anti-dumping duties of 16.5 percent and 10 percent on the shoe exports from China and Vietnam respectively for the next five years starting on October 07, 2006.
