Vietnam's footwear exports turnover touched $327.08 million in July 2006 while for the first seven months, footwear exports increased by 21.6 percent to $2.07 billion compared to same period last year, according to statistics released by Vietnamese Ministry of Trade.
In first seven months, the US imported footwear worth $462.95 million followed by UK, Germany and Belgium with $305.54 million, $209.19 million and $137.8 million respectively.
