Top model Cindy Crawford has been signed by Turkish Leather Publicity Group (DTG) to lead its campaign in US by the end of October; she would be seen in billboards on New York streets wearing Turkish leather.
Shooting is scheduled to begin soon in Los Angles and she is to wear outfits and accessories which will be given by firms like Orjin, Matras, Inci, Derimod, Levinson and Vizon.
Lemi Tolunay, head of DTG and Union of Istanbul Leather and products Exporters informed that campaign was aimed at creating an image of the Turkish leather in US markets. He informed that Cindy was selected because of her iconic status in US.
Tolunay hoped that the campaign will bear fruit at the Turkish Leather Product Fair which is scheduled to be held from January, 09-11, 2007 in New York.
