The Instron test system is one of several recent capital expenditures Norplex-Micarta has made to ensure that customers are offered premium manufacturing and testing services. Norplex-Micarta materials span many industries including various electrical, construction, oil and gas, military, and power generation applications. With state-of-the-art test equipment, Norplex-Micarta's in-house laboratory can conduct the testing that these industries demand. The laboratory has the ability to test to recognized specifications such as Military, NEMA or ASTM D, customer written specifications and many other widely used standards.
