Spanning 26,000 sq m, the project is expected to create 1,000 direct jobs and export 70 per cent of its production.
The facility is scheduled to open in the second half next year, coinciding with the launch of similar projects in the industrial zone.
At the signing ceremony, SCZone chairman Walid Gamal El-Din highlighted the strategic advantages of the Qantara West industrial zone, citing its proximity to Canal and Delta governorates, making it ideal for labour-intensive projects.
The Denim Rise project marks the fourth Turkish investment in the zone, reflecting robust economic ties between the two nations, he was cited as saying by Egyptian media outlets.
The Qantara West industrial zone is also set to host facilities for garment accessories, textile printing and dyeing, and the manufacturing of bags and travel goods.
With this new contract, SCZone has completed nine project agreements under the first phase of the zone. These projects represent a combined investment of $317.8 million, and are expected to generate over 15,000 jobs.
