Clothing industry centre to come up in China's Shishi city

A world-class leisure clothing industry centre would come up in Shishi, a city in the municipal region of Quanzhou in the south of China’s Fujian province.
 
Shishi City Economic Bureau has announced that in accordance with the plan to develop land-intensive clusters, several projects have entered the implementation stage, which includes development of a garment industrial park for manufacturing of casual wear.
 
The Shishi city centre will focus on building Shishi Clothing City, and other industrial parks focusing on the garment industry, and garment and fabric logistics, warehousing and distribution.
 
In Jin Shang area, a textile industrial park is planned on area of 232.21 hectares, which will include construction of a modern textile plant as well as developing textile and garment oriented research and development centre.
