Sri Lankan clothing firm to invest in KEPZ

M/s. Hela Clothing Bangladesh Ltd., a fully Sri Lanka-based company will set up a garments manufacturing industry, at a cost of US $5 million, in Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone of Bangladesh.

This establishment will offer jobs to around 3,061 Bangladeshi people along with 5 foreign nationals, and will manufacture garment products.

Pertaining to this, an agreement was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and the M/s. Hela Clothing Bangladesh Ltd.

Mr. Md. Moyjuddin Ahmed, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Mr. WA Chandrasoma Perera, Project Manager of M/s. Hela Clothing Bangladesh Ltd. signed the pact on behalf of their respective organizations.
