Peter Scott, a Hawick-based textiles producer, which went in to administration in May, unable to face the economic downturn and made nearly 120 of the 140 employees redundant, has finally found a buyer.
Gloverall, a Northamptonshire based textile and clothing company has bought over the assets of Peter Scott. Gloverall is well-known as a manufacturer of Duffel coats.
Gloverall intends to resume full production at Peter Scott within a short time.
