Tainan to set up third clothing plant in China

Tainan Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise of Taiwan's clothing industry, recently signed a cooperation agreement with the administration of Zhoukou City in Henan province.

Tainan was set up around 50 years back and also has a manufacturing base in Shanghai and other areas since the last 20 years.

The project to be set up in an industrial area of Zhoukou City will focus on clothing production and will be the third such clothing production unit of the company in the Chinese mainland.

The first phase will be set up on 23,000 square meters of a standard factory building and will be put into operation by the end of the year and is expected to create 2,000 new jobs.

The second phase will start next year. Total investment in the first and the second phases is expected to reach US $50 million and anticipated to generate 200 million Yuan in profits per year.
