The proposed partnership is expected to produce 1,500 pairs of shoes and 500 pieces of clothing daily, and cover key areas of education, sports and other critical sectors in line with the Akwa Ibom administration’s ARISE agenda.
Launched in 2023, the ARISE agenda is a five-pillar development blueprint for the state focusing on agricultural revolution, rural development, infrastructure, security management and educational advancement. It aims at fostering sustainable economic growth, enhance food security and deliver people-oriented projects, such as school improvements and gratuity payments.
The company hopes to penetrate deeper into Akwa Ibom and other neighbouring states in the next few years, domestic media outlets reported citing the company management.
Erojim Investments has already expanded beyond Aba, with branches in Lagos, Kaduna, Ikot Osurua in Ikot Ekpene, and Uyo.
