He was addressing a webinar titled ‘AI & Robotics: Global Implication of Artificial Intelligence" in Dhaka. The webinar was organised as part of the World Congress on Information Technology, held between November 11 and 14 in the capital.
Hassan said technological innovations are imperative to make businesses sustainable as well, according to a BGMEA press release.
He said automation and technology upgradation would not adversely affect employment as all the processes required to make a garment cannot be replaced by machines.
