Fenwick Equestrian, a US based company that specialises in manufacturing equine products with high performance fabrics, uses a unique technology infused with titanium to develop high performance fabric with healing properties.

Fenwick has developed products for humans using the same technology which it earlier used to make blankets for horses – the Liquid Titanium technology, which helps horses cool down after a race and also aids in healing injuries.

The Liquid Titanium wearable products use a lightweight, breathable and drug-free therapeutic technology which increases blood flow without compression, according to the company's website.

The Liquid Titanium fabric contains far infrared rays which produce internal warmth. The rays penetrate the subcutaneous layer of the skin where they convert into radiant heat and increase the body temperature.

The far infra red rays in the Liquid Titanium technology consist of pain-relieving, immune-boosting, and energy-restoring properties. Fenwick's Liquid Titanium also produces negative ions, which can make an individual feel better and uplift a person's mood.

The company has implemented the Liquid Titanium technology in a host of different products like headbands, joint wraps, scarves, shirts, pillow cases, and bed covers.

The Liquid Titanium fabric absorbs moisture, dries quickly, and is anti-bacterial and breathable. Moreover, it can be machine-washed and allows a four-way stretch for a comfortable fit.

Fenwick hopes to use this innovative healing fabric to develop products in future for athletes and military personnel. (HO)
