Oxford Limited, which translates core brand values and eight centuries of Oxford University’s heritage into consumer products across a broad range of categories, including apparels and accessories, has inked an agreement with Lofty International for designing apparels and accessories for the Brazilian market.

The deal was brokered through Supermarcas, Oxford’s licensing partner for Brazil and other South American countries.

Under the two-year deal, Lofty will launch the first Oxford collection for Autumn/Winter 2012. The firm will create apparels featuring the crests of the University, and its colleges and sports clubs. The firm will also design fashion accessories, including bags, for the Brazilian market.

Oxford Limited said apparel is a major item for the promotion of the Oxford consumer brand and Lofty will create the Oxford look for Brazil and enumerate the success of its established licenses in China, Japan and South Korea.
