Zippo launches menswear line at CHIC 2013

Zippo, the internationally famous Pennsylvanian metal lighter brand, has forayed into the world of fashion by unveiling its maiden apparel line at the recently concluded 21st edition of China International Clothing & Accessories Fair (CHIC 2013).
 
Designed by Zippo Manufacturing Company, the functional yet fashionable menswear range is targeted towards men between the ages of 24 to 35. 
 
According to People’s Daily Online, the American label plans to launch nearly eight flagship outlets in progressive Chinese cities like Beijing and Shanghai by the year end. 
 
The firm also has future plans to open around 50 more stores in lower-tier cities of the country by 2015.
 
Founded in 1932, Zippo specializes in a range of outdoor and camping accessories.
 
Held in Beijing, the latest CHIC 2013 displayed products of more than 1000 brands from nearly 20 countries.
