Dream Theatre to launch WWE products in India

Dream Theatre has inked a licensing deal with WWE International, an international sports entertainment company, for launching products like apparels, accessories and bags under the WWE label in India.

Jiggy George, Founder and CEO of Mumbai-based Dream Theatre Private Ltd said in a statement that his company is pleased to collaborate with WWE and reach its huge fan base across India. The collaboration will immensely boost Theatre's portfolio as WWE is tremendously popular amongst fans in all age groups.

Dream Theatre possesses exclusive licensing rights for well-known characters like Batman and Superman in India. It will introduce WWE products across bags, apparels, and other innovatory segments.

The merchandise would be made available in retail chain outlets pan India including in Shoppers Stop, Crossword, Lifestyle, Hamleys, Pantaloons, More, Central, Lilliput, Hypercity and others.

According to WWE International Executive Vice-President Andrew Whitaker, the incredible demand for official WWE merchandise from a large fan base in India has been stirred up by the excellent ratings of its television programmes on Ten Sports for the past 10 years.

Ten Sports screens WWE programmes for nine hours every week and programmes like 'Divas', 'WWE Superstars' and 'Hall Of Famers' can be viewed in 68 million homes across India.
