Following a divisive election and election of Donald Trump as the President, INDA, the Association of the Nonwovens Fabrics Industry joined National Association of Manufacturers and more than 1,100 other manufacturing businesses to help bring the country back together. In a letter to Donald Trump, INDA also urged all to unite behind the new administration.

The letter also expressed an urgent need to communicate and work productively with the new administration and the new Congress, on key issues to reach the full economic potential of the country.

“INDA remains committed to advancing the success of the nonwovens industry and its members, and urges all to quickly unite behind our elected officials to advance reasonable and balanced policies that enhance opportunity for all,” David Rousse, president at INDA said.

Signatures for the letter, and these important commitments from business leaders, were gathered over a period of nearly two weeks, well before the results of the election were known. (AR)
