The Hassan Group of Turkey has expanded its collection of nonwoven items, with its investment on a sophisticated air-through bonding line which would facilitate production of the acquisition/distribution layer (ADL) materials.

Merkas A.S., under the Hassan Group, has an annual capacity to produce about 8,000 tons of nonwoven items. These ADL materials are used in various products like sanitary napkins, diapers and adult incontinence products.

The new line also holds the capacity of manufacturing related nonwoven goods, which are particularly meant for use in the medical textiles.
