Nylon chip market remained basically stable on October 24. In East China, mainstream price of conventional spinning slice was around 24,500 yuan per ton with shipment completed by buyer. Price of high-speed spinning chip was offered at 24800-25000 yuan per ton.
In Central China, price of high-speed spinning chip marked 25,000 yuan per ton with usual trade volume.
Price of chip imports from Taiwan was still stable but sales declined. Price for semi-dull and bright high-speed spinning stayed at US $2660-2670 per ton for L/C 90 days, price for dull was at US $2760 per ton. Rise momentum in the market was not strong due to more resistance from lower reaches.
Nylon filament market remained firm as whole, prices of high-grade DTY was in 30000-31000 yuan per ton, POY price was steady. High-grade filament price was in 27300-27500 yuan per ton, midrange goods remained in 26300-26500 yuan per ton, and high-texturised filament saw decent demand. Supported by raw material price rise from upstream and better demand from downstream, future market is expected to be pushed up further.
