In Chinese market, caprolactam (CPL) prices moved down by RMB 200 / ton. New prices assessed around RMB 22,600 / ton. In last seven days Caprolactam prices have moved down around 3 percent. CPL turned weak as upstream market went through heavy fluctuations.
Nylon Chips prices moved down by RMB 100 / ton. New prices assessed around RMB 24,400 / ton. Market speculators still expected fall of Nylon chip prices in parallel with upstream prices.
Nylon POY, FDY and DTY prices remained steady around RMB 26,900 / ton, RMB 28,200 / ton and RMB 29,600 / ton respectively. Nylon Filament prices hikes were slow, as downstream consumers buying interest was modest.
