In Chinese market Caprolactam prices have once again moved down by RMB 200 / ton. New prices assessed around RMB 22,400 / ton. Upstream product prices are moving in a range bound, so, market traders expect stabilization of Caprolactam prices.
Nylon Chips prices too have moved down by RMB 100 / ton as in the past two days. New prices assessed around RMB 24,300 / ton. The price for chips was mainly supported by firm demand from filament producers. Market speculators still expect a marginal fall in Nylon chip prices.
Nylon POY, FDY and DTY prices remained steady around RMB 26,900 / ton, RMB 28,200 / ton and RMB 29,600 / ton, respectively. Here also, speculators expect a nominal drop in Nylon filament prices.
