In Chinese market, caprolactam prices remained stable around RMB 22,000 / ton and its upstream product prices also followed steady trend. Caprolactam producers were found to be worried about end-user demand and also for how long the demand would continue at these price levels.
Nylon chips prices remain unchanged at around RMB 24,000 / ton. Nylon chip producers continued to buy raw material as there is a threat of rebounding in prices of upstream raw material products.
Nylon POY, FDY and DTY prices remained stable around RMB 26,900 / ton, RMB 28,200 / ton and RMB 29,600 / ton respectively. Speculators are excitedly waiting for the fall in nylon filament yarn prices in near future
