Asian benzene down last week from weak upstream prices

Benzene prices went down in Asia in the last week ended September 18 from weak upstream energy prices in the region.

In Korea, average prices fell by US$ 10/ton or 1.72 per cent and were quoted at US$ 570/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices reduced by US$ 10/ton and were assessed at US$ 575/ton in the last week, down 1.71 per cent as against its prior week.

In India, average prices slipped by US$ 10/ton and were spotted at US$ 580/ton in the last week, a decrease of 1.69 per cent from its earlier week.
