Asian ethylene drops last week from mute sentiment

Ethylene prices dropped in Asia in the last week ended Feb 12 from mute buying sentiments in the region.

In Korea, average prices declined by US$ 15/ton or 1.65 per cent and were quoted at US$ 895/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices dipped by US$ 15/ton and were offered at US$ 890/ton in the last week, down 1.66 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices descended by US$ 10/ton and were spotted at US$ 890/ton in the last week, a decrease of 1.11 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.

In NE Asia, average prices decreased by US$ 5/ton or 0.56 per cent from its previous week and were assessed at US$ 895/ton in the last week.

In India, average prices went down by US$ 10/ton and were quoted at US$ 890/ton in the last week, down 1.11 per cent as compared to its prior week.
