Asian ethylene prices climb last week

Ethylene prices increased in Asia in the last week due to lift in the buying interest in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices hiked by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 1365/ton in the last week, registering a gain of 1.49 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices rose by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 1360/ton in the last week, after an increase of 1.49 per cent over the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices went up by US$ 10/ton and settled at US$ 1405/ton in the last week as compared to the previous week, an enhancement of 0.72 per cent.
 
In SE Asia, average prices edged higher by US$ 5/ton and secured at US$ 1280/ton in the last week, a jump of 0.39 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
