Asian ethylene prices decrease due to lower energy values

Ethylene prices declined in Asia in the last week due to lower energy values in the region.
In FE Asia, average prices reduced by US$ 65/ton and quoted at US$ 1110/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a decrement of 5.53 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices plunged by US$ 65/ton and assessed at US$ 1105/ton in the last week, a drop of 5.56 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices marched lower by US$ 45/ton and quoted at US$ 1035/ton in the last week, a fall of 4.17 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices decreased by US$ 50/ton and assessed at US$ 1140/ton in the last week, registering a reduction of 4.20 per cent from the previous week.
