Asian ethylene prices decrease last week

Ethylene prices moved lower in Asia in the last week because of sufficient availability of product in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices edged lower US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 880/ton in the last week as against US$ 885/ton in the preceding week.
 
In Japan, average prices inched down US$ 5/ton while settling at US$ 875/ton in the last week, a drop of 0.57 per cent over the past week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices tumbled US$ 15/ton to US$ 810/ton in the last week, a slip of 1.82 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the former week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices slumped US$ 15/ton and secured at US$ 920/ton in the last week, after a fall of 1.60 per cent as compared to the previous week.
