Asian ethylene prices decrease last week

Ethylene prices contracted in Asia in the last week due to sluggish demand in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices diminished by US$ 90/ton and assessed at US$ 870/ton in the last week from US$ 960/ton in the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices deteriorated to US$ 865/ton as compared to US$ 955/ton in the last week, a fall of 9.42 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices shrunk sharply by US$ 70/ton and settled at US$ 875/ton in the last week from US$ 945/ton at the end of the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices slowed to US$ 785/ton in the last week as compared to US$ 870/ton in previous week over the previous week, a reduction of 9.77 per cent.
