Asian ethylene prices diminish past week

Ethylene prices slipped in Asia in the last week because of sufficient availability of product in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices witnessed a sharp fall of US$ 45/ton to US$ 1,050/ton in the last week as against US$ 1,095/ton in the week before, a decrease of 4.11 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices moved down by US$ 30/ton and assessed at US$ 1,060/ton in the last week, a fall of 2.75 per cent over the former week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices slumped US$ 45ton at US$ 965/ton in the last week, a slip of 4.46 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices weakened to US$ 1070/ton in the prior week, post a deduction of 3.60 per cent from US$ 1,110/ton during the past week.
