Asian ethylene prices dip due to unfavourable market

Ethylene prices declined in Asia in the last week due to unfavourable market conditions in the region.
 
In FE Asia, average prices went down by US$ 30/ton and quoted at US$ 1265/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a fall of 2.32 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices plunged by US$ 30/ton and assessed at US$ 1260/ton in the last week, a decrement of 2.33 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices stepped down by US$ 25/ton and quoted at US$ 1115/ton in the last week, a reduction of 2.19 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices decreased by US$ 85/ton and assessed at US$ 1270/ton in the last week, registering a drop of 6.27 per cent from the previous week.
