Asian ethylene prices drop due to weak buying

Ethylene prices moved down in Asia in the last week due to weak buying activities in the region.
 
In FE Asia, average prices stepped down by US$ 15/ton and quoted at US$ 1095/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a reduction of 1.35 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices declined by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 1090/ton in the last week, a decrement of 1.36 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices inched lower by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 1030/ton in the last week, a drop of 0.48 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices reduced by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 1135/ton in the last week, registering a fall of 0.44 per cent from the previous week.
