Asian ethylene prices drop on sluggish buying trend

Ethylene prices plunged in Asia in the last week due to sluggish buying trend in the region.

 

In FE Asia, average prices went down by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 1080/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a fall of 1.82 per cent.

 

In Japan, average prices stepped down by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 1075/ton in the last week, a reduction of 1.83 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.

 

In NE Asia, average prices edged lower by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 1110/ton in the last week, registering a decrease of 1.77 per cent from the previous week.
