Asian ethylene prices improve last week

Ethylene prices surged in Asia in the last week because of tight product supply along with the improved buying inquiries in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices stepped up by US$ 15/ton and secured at US$ 1220/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a lift of 1.24 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices went up by US$ 15/ton and quoted at US$ 1215/ton in the last week, a hike of 1.25 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices advanced by US$ 20/ton and recorded at US$ 1155/ton in the last week, an improvement of 1.76 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices enhanced by US$ 40/ton and assessed at US$ 1280/ton in the last week, registering a gain of 3.23 per cent from the previous week.
