Asian ethylene prices improve last week

Ethylene prices stepped up in Asia in the last week due to constrained product availability in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices marched higher by US$ 20/ton and secured at US$ 1345/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, an increase of 1.51 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices advanced by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 1340/ton in the last week, a jump of 1.52 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices soared by US$ 20/ton and recorded at US$ 1285/ton in the last week, an advancement of 1.58 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices climbed by US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 1400/ton in the last week, registering a lift of 1.82 per cent from the previous week.
