Asian ethylene prices increase past week

Ethylene prices advanced in Asia in the last week due to higher upstream energy values coupled with improved buying inquires in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices surged by US$ 15/ton and secured at US$ 1270/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a jump of 1.20 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices moved up by US$ 15/ton and quoted at US$ 1265/ton in the last week, a climb of 1.20 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices enhanced by US$ 15/ton and recorded at US$ 1190/ton in the last week, an advancement of 1.28 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices stepped up by US$ 20/ton and assessed at US$ 1325/ton in the last week, registering a gain of 1.53 per cent from the previous week.
