Asian ethylene prices jump lower last week

Ethylene prices improved in Asia in the last week due to restricted regional product availability.
 
In Korea, average prices climbed US$ 70/ton and settled at US$ 975/ton in the former week, an increase of 7.73 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices soared US$ 70/ton to US$ 970/ton in the preceding week, a climb of 7.78 per cent as compared US$ 900/ton in the earlier week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices marched higher to US$ 1040/ton in the past week, a hike of 7.77 per cent over US$ 965/ton in the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices escalated to US$ 955/ton from US$ 875/ton in the week before, a rise of 9.14 per cent in the last week.
