Asian ethylene prices march lower last week

Ethylene prices decreased in Asia in the last week due to sluggish product demand sentiments in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices reduced by US$ 50/ton and quoted at US$ 1305/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a reduction of 3.69 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices moved down by US$ 50/ton and assessed at US$ 1300/ton in the last week, a fall of 3.70 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices declined by US$ 35/ton and quoted at US$ 1175/ton in the last week, a decrement of 2.89 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices inched lower by US$ 35/ton and assessed at US$ 1305/ton in the last week, registering a drop of 2.61 per cent from the previous week.
