Asian ethylene prices plunge last week

Ethylene prices sharply dropped in Asia in the previous week due to ample of product availability in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices drifted sharply lower by US$ 75/ton and quoted at US$ 895/ton in the last week as compared to the prior week, a decline of 7.73 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices slipped by US$ 75/ton and assessed at US$ 890/ton in the past week, a fall of 7.77 per cent over the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices shrunk by US$ 90/ton and settled at US$ 825/ton in the last week, a drop of 9.84 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices moved down by US$ 95/ton and secured at US$ 905/ton in the last week, after a reduction of 9.50 per cent as compared to the previous week.
