Asian ethylene prices reduce past week

Ethylene prices plunged in Asia in the last week due to bearish buying trends in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices diminished by US$ 70/ton and settled at US$ 970/ton in the last week as compared to the previous week, a decrease of 6.73 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices declined by US$ 75/ton and valued at US$ 965/ton in the last week, a fall of 7.21 per cent over the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices tumbled by US$ 100/ton and recorded at US$ 865/ton in the last week, a plunge of 10.36 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices dwindled by US$ 105/ton and quoted at US$ 955/ton in the last week, after a decline of 9.91 per cent as compared to the previous week.
