Asian ethylene prices rise last week

Ethylene prices inched higher in Asia in the last week despite weaker buying interest and improved product availability in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices moved up by US$ 5/ton and secured at US$ 1255/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a lift of 0.40 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices increased by US$ 5/ton and quoted at US$ 1250/ton in the last week, a jump of 0.40 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices enhanced by US$ 5/ton and recorded at US$ 1175/ton in the last week, an improvement of 0.43 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices moved up by US$ 5/ton and assessed at US$ 1305/ton in the last week, registering a climb of 0.38 per cent from the previous week.
